Q. What is the cost?
A. Free, $295, $595, $1495 and $7,000 depending on the version. See the Pricing page for full details.
Q. How do I order?
A. Please call /fax or Email us with your credit card or company Purchase Order information and we will provide you with the download instructions. An ID file will also be send to you.
Q. What is included in ASP-db?
A. You will receive the ASP-db DLL file for use on an NT Server, or Workstation (for development purposes), a User Manual in pdf and HTML format, a set of sample gif files for the graphic navigator buttons, and sample files. If you purchase the maintenance contract, ASP-dbDesigner will be included.
Q. Can I develop my application on a local Windows 98 or NT machine?
A. Yes, Even though W98 is not a preferred platform, the supplied component will work on a "clean" W98 setup. "Clean" means no other programs are running at the same time.
Q. Is there an evaluation version of ASP-db?
A. Yes, and it's available from the ASP-db home page, or the drop-down menu shown above. It has a limit of displaying 50 records, and contains an "eval" banner, but other than that, it is 100% functional. However, since we offer a 30 day money back guarantee, you might as well order the full version! The advanced feature like Charting, Dynalist, Validation, Calendar etc. are not included in the "eval" package.
Q. Can ASP-db read SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Sybase databases?
A. Yes, as long as the ODBC or OLD-DB driver for those databases has been installed on your server.
Q. Is there an expiration date on the Eval version?
A. No, it never expires. It is limited to displaying 50 records.
Q. Are there any royalties?
A. No.
